Think About the Whole – The Mandala Concept

Mandala

Center – Circle

Mandala is a Sanskrit word that translates as “circle-circumference” or “completion.” It conveys the notion that any center is tied to its circumference and the circumference is determined by its center. Together they represent the whole or wholeness. It’s about connectedness, whether in business or life.

Over the years I’ve had success in using the Mandala concept as a tool in conducting in business. Think of all the client might need or how your product touches the client. Think about the whole.

I use the Mandala concept with my client in the center of the sphere. What radiates outward are all the components needed to assist in the course of the career communications framework: resume, cover letter, bio, social networking profiles, career portfolio, web portfolio, branding. These are all tools that are connected and make up the whole package regarding the pursuit of a job. Think about the whole.

Look at your business and look at all the elements that make up your business. Then draw your own Mandala and work in the components and you will design your whole circle.
Think about the whole.
